We had a quiet and relaxing stay at this remote location. We saw pine marten and lots of birds from living room window.

What a fantastic find! A beautifully created cottage with stunning views overlooking the burn. We had planned this as a quiet retreat and took our paddleboards which you can launch close by. The cottage has everything you need for a getaway from it all stay, we enjoyed tea outside on the bench (and even saw a pine martin) Inside was roomy and cosy with a good shower and comfy bed. If only we could find more places like this. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys wild life or is looking for some luxurious peace and quiet.

Wonderful stay with lovely walks and cosy evenings in. The cottage has everything one could need and the hosts were available to help with anything.

Incredible views all around we will certainly be returning.

A really lovely little place right on the shore of loch Katrine. We walked down to watch the sunset and it was so beautiful and serene. On a clear night ideal for star gazing- clear enough to see the milky way.

We loved staying at Burn View with our little family. We enjoyed the local walks and close proximity to Loch Katrine. We even saw a stag in the burn one night out of the window which was unbelievable.

We loved every minute of our stay at Burn View, the cottage was lovely, modern, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The location was stunning, only a few minutes walk to the loch and we loved the view of the Burn from the cottage, we even saw an otter frolicking in the Burn one morning. We also loved the secluded (but not isolated) location of the cottage. We really felt it was the perfect place to recharge our batteries. For us there was nothing that could be improved upon and we cannot wait to  return.

Comfortable, well equipped place. I would recommend the walk that starts at Burn View for great views and sun sets, walking along the west highland way and bringing bikes for cycling around the loch. Good place to launch a canoe (less than 100m away) just where the burn enters the loch. About 30 mins form Aberfoyle (shops) so come prepared,

Excellent beautiful location. It is at the end of the road so you need to expect a good drive to get to most places but this was more than worth it in our opinion. Beautiful place to stay inside and out.

Remote but stunning location, perfect for an isolated getaway. The house was exceptionally clean with small thoughtful touches to make it special. Would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing waterfall views, a jewel in the Trossachs. This was our first holiday post-lockdown and the Covid regulations were taken very seriously. Scrupulously clean, high end spec all mod cons and fab easy to use coffee machine. Perfect place for R&R watching nature, woodpeckers/chaffinch/nuthatch/heron/badger from the amazing floor to ceiling picture window overlooking the waterfall.

Booked 3 nights for our wedding anniversary and had such a brilliant time. Cottage will likely exceed expectations- inside modern cosy and very comfortable with everything you need there. Great views of the waterfall and the visiting badgers. Cant knock the value of this place. We were both genuinely sad to leave and most likely will return in the summer. Loved it.

Loved the location and the whole upside down aspect of this cottage. The view of the waterfall/burn from the large lounge upstairs window was stunning. The whole place was so clean it looked brand new. Kitchen had everything needed for a long stay including fridge/freezer and dishwasher and they even had sky TV. Would love to stay again and will recommend to friends.

When we reached the top of the hill looking at the cottage beneath us we were breathless at the beauty of the view of the loch, mountains and countryside. Burn View is an amazing upside down house, with opulent bedroom. lovely bathroom and utility room downstairs. Well equipped kitchen and stylishly decorated with full wall window overlooking the waterfall upstairs. "This place is gorgeous"

Burn View was a great escape tucked away near Loch Katrine. The cottage has everything you need for a great getaway. We spent  3 nights there exploring the walks near the cottage, Loch Ard and Aberfoyle. We would definitely recommend a visit.

What a beautiful place. The view of the stream running into the Loch was pretty with lots of wild birds coming to peck at the bits. This place is really at the end of the road and so is completely quiet and peaceful. At night it is completely dark giving a beautiful view of the clear night sky. The scenery is breath taking and a trip on the Lady of the Lake was very enjoyable and informative. The Peer Cafe was excellent for both a tea and evening meal. Sheena and David are excellent hosts available to help but leaving us to ourselves. The cottage has all you would expect and was spotless. We had a lovely and very relaxing time throughout. I would highly recommend Sheena’s cottage and intend to go back sometime next year.

We arrived at Burn View after our wedding and it was the perfect location to get away from the world for a few days. Beautiful surroundings. very peaceful, not a soul in sight. There is a waterfall in the grounds just outside the door and amazing walks and views all around.  

It was lovely to watch the birds eating from the feeders which the owners top up regularly. The house is kept in amazing condition and I loved the decor. The internet is quite slow, as expected in remote area, but this is great when you are trying to get away.  There is sky TV and DVDs and you can connect other devices to the TV so there was plenty to do on rainy days. It is a great cottage and we would love to stay there again in the future.

Another fantastic stay at Burn View, a beautifully clean and well presented place to stay. it snowed during our stay but we still managed to get out and enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding the property. We will definitely recommend to friends and stay ourselves again soon.

Outstanding place to stay. Pictures do not do it justice. Rain or shine there are plenty of things to see and do in the area. As clean as a new pin inside with views of an amazing waterfall gushing at this time of year.
